It's Official: WIBC-A Moves To The FM Dial

The New Look

What ALL ACCESS told you in OCTOBER (NET NEWS 10/9), has finally happened, as EMMIS Talk WIBC-A/INDIANAPOLIS made the switch this morning, over to FM. The move brings the heritage station to 93.1 FM (the old WNOU frequency), and simultaniously creates a brand new sports station at 1070 AM.

"Our research shows that we can best grow and serve our audiences by splitting and extending our programming," said VP/Market Mgr. TOM SEVERINO when the move was announced. "WIBC is still going to have the biggest radio news team in the state and the best Talk lineup."
