Sony Debuts Two New HD Toys At CES

The CONSUMER ELECTRONICS SHOW, once again offering a cornucopia of new media toys, is raising the state of the HD art with a couple of new SONY radio. Consumers who want access to new content and crystal-clear digital sound can choose a tabletop radio that also docks their digital music player, or they can select a revolutionary receiver that connects to nearly any home sound system and transforms it into an HD Radio-capable device. Specifically, they are:
* The XDR-F1HD Tuner transforms an existing audio system with an auxiliary input into an HD Radio receiver. The high fidelity HD Radio technology provides clear digital radio reception and FM multicasting, without monthly subscription fees.
* The XDR-S10HDiP HD Radio model with iPOD compatibility is the first tabletop radio of its kind from SONY. The iTUNES Tagging capability enables the user to save song information with the touch of a button while listening to an HD Radio station.The iPOD can later be hooked up to the user's computer where the information will be downloaded, and purchase choices can then be made using iTUNES.
