Sheriff Shuts Down Florida Pirate

Three individuals were arrested FRIDAY in a raid that shut down a pirate FM station in WINTER HAVEN, FL. 

WESLEY C. WILLIAMS, JIMESSIA SPILLMAN, and CALVIN THOMPSON were accused of one count each of unauthorized transmission and interference with a licensed station, which FLORIDA's strict anti-pirate-radio law makes a third degree felony. The station was raided by the POLK COUNTY Sheriff's Office working with the FCC and FLORIDA State Attorney's office.
