As first tipped on ALL ACCESS, at 12p (PT) today (11/30) ENTERCOM Talk KQBZ/SEATTLE spun the format wheel to Country as 100.7 THE WOLF. Veteran and the former CITADEL VP/Product Development SCOTT MAHALICK has been tapped for PD duties.
In related news, as the station flips formats, current KQBZ midday man BJ SHEA has been named to do mornings from 5a-10a, on Rock sister KISW following HOWARD STERN's departure from terrestrial radio, beginning JANUARY 3rd, 2006.
In other KISW changes, PD RYAN CASTLE leaving the midday slot to concentrate on his programming duties. RICKER will move from afternoons to middays as RYAN'S replacement. Afternoons will now be helmed by the team of MILES MONTGOMERY and STEVE "THE THRILL" HILL aka THE MEN'S ROOM and the lovely JOLENE will continue on at 7p-12a.
