WESTWOOD ONE's METRO NETWORKS, the nation's largest traffic info provider, and TRAFFICCAST, which provides predictive and traffic flow information in the U.S. and CHINA, have announced an agreement to create largest traffic incident, enhanced flow, and predictive traffic services organization in NORTH AMERICA.
"This new agreement with TRAFFICCAST enables customers of all platforms to do 'one-stop shopping' for all their traffic information needs," said GARY WOROBOW, WESTWOOD ONE EVP/Business Affairs. "The incorporation of actual traffic speed and predictive traffic services into WESTWOOD ONE's massive traffic information gathering and reporting operation further enhances the breadth and accuracy of all of our traffic services, as well as growing our portfolio of traffic information and content for emerging markets."
