VH1 yesterday announced a management shuffle that elevated two senior executives to replace programming boss MICHAEL HIRSCHORN, whom the network confirmed would be stepping down to form his own production company. THE NEW YORK POST broke the news of HIRSCHORN's impending departure on its Web site WEDNESDAY afternoon.
And though VH1 said HIRSCHORN would be leaving to start his own company, called ISH ENTERTAINMENT, a source close to the situation said that talks are still going on between HIRSCHORN and other companies about providing financing for his new studio.
VH1 named JEFF OLDE to replace HIRSCHORN as EVP/Original Programming And Production.
