Classic Country Debut In Wichita

STECKLINE COMMUNICATIONS has launched a new Classic Country station in WICHITA. KWLS (US107.9)/WINFIELD-WICHITA, KS debuted TODAY at noon with JONES RADIO's Classic Hit Country format. PREMIERE's BIG D & BUBBA have been signed for morning drive. BOB ALLISON will serve as PD.

STECKLINE took over the station from the CARTER-SHERMAN GROUP on JANUARY 1st. Prior to the sale, the station aired hip-hop/R&B as KSJM (107.9 JAMZ).
