GREAT SCOTT Top 40/Rhythmic WOCQ (OC104)/OCEAN CITY-SALISBURY's morning show THE NEW HIP-HOP COFFEE SHOP sent their listeners into a frenzy this morning (1/24) by announcing that station management had determined that it was in the station's best interest to no longer play Hip-Hop and R&B. 

The morning show then went into 30 minutes of show tunes with listeners calling, e-mailing and posting nasty comments on its MYSPACE page. APD/MD/morning co-host BILL BAKER equated it to BURGER KING's Whopper Freak Out when they took away the WHOPPER for a day.
