Jim Urie Upped To Pres./CEO At UMGD

UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP DISTRIBUTION (UMGD) has promoted JIM URIE to CEO. URIE previously was President of UMGD; he will now carry the titles of both President/CEO.
"Since joining us in 1996, JIM has done a tremendous job in building UMGD into the world's premier entertainment distribution company," stated UMG Chair./CEO DOUG MORRIS. "As he continues to expand and diversify UMGD, we look forward to JIM taking the company to even greater heights."
