TODAY (1/25) is RONNIE KAYE Day in OKLAHOMA, as Governor BRAD HENRY declares the occasion to honor the longtime RENDA Classic Hits KOMA/OKLAHOMA CITY midday personality. The day is being declared to commemmorate KAYE's 50-year career in the radio business.

KAYE started his career at KLCN-A/BLYTHEVILLE, AR in 1956 while in high school, then later worked at KSWO-A/LAWTON, OK before moving to OKLAHOMA CITY, where he joined WKY-A and also worked for WKY-TV and KOKH-TV before joining KOMA in 1992.
