Emap Radio Sale To Bauer Closes

EMAP has closed on the sale of its U.K. radio division to HENIRICH BAUER VERLAG KG for for 422 million pounds. 

The stations included in the deal include the KISS and MAGIC stations as well as CFM, COOL FM, DOWNTOWN RADIO, HALLAM FM, KERRANG! RADIO, KEY 103, METRO RADIO, MFR, NORTHSOUND, RADIO AIRE, RADIO BORDERS, RADIO CITY, RADIO CLYDE, RADIO FORTH, ROCK FM, SOUTH WEST SOUND, TAY FM, TFM, VIKING FM, WAVE 105, and WEST SOUND FM.

The sale of EMAP's consumer magazine division has also become unconditional after approval by German and Austrian regulators and will close shortly.
