Condolences to family and friends of BEN CONNER, better known to listeners of Rock WNNX (ROCK 100.5)/ATLANTA morning show THE REGULAR GUYS as comic foil "BEN THE BUNNYMAN," who died MONDAY of complications related to heart valve replacement surgery.
CONNER, 36, was a frequent guest on the show at its previous home, crosstown CLEAR CHANNEL Rock WKLS (96 ROCK), known for his speech impediment and stunts like announcing a BRAVES game, hosting wrestling events, and getting into nearly incomprehensible arguments with a rival, "Bob the Bunnyman" (voiced by REGULAR GUYS Producer TIM ANDREWS). His last appearance was last week, on which he talked about his upcoming surgery. He worked for WELLSTAR HEALTH SYSTEMS and is survived by a son AUSTIN.
A funeral is scheduled for FEBRUARY 9th at CLARK FUNERAL HOME in HIRAM, GA.
