WBT's Katz Receives Presidential Honor

GREATER MEDIA Talk WBT-A-F/CHARLOTTE afternoon host JEFF KATZ has received the President's Volunteer Service Award from the WHITE HOUSE's Presidential Council on Service and Civic Participation.

KATZ, who received the honor for his extensive community volunteer work and the time he has devoted towards helping children with developmental disabilities, said, "I am honored and humbled to receive this wonderful award. While you don't devote this time in hopes of being acknowledged in this way, it is very special to know that the President of the UNITED STATES has been made aware of your contributions and has taken steps to recognize them."
