ALL ACCESS has received an update and offers a correction in the earlier EUGENE BROWN story (2/11). EUGENE BROWN was an account executive for  the RADIO ONE COLUMBUS, OH cluster that includes Urban WCKX(POWER107.5), Urban AC WXMG (MAGIC98.9) and Black Gospel WJYD (JOY106.3). He was shot and killed THURSDAY (2/7) at a club in COLUMBUS called THE HAPPY FAMILY BAR. He was not an air personality for the station, although he did work as a club jock in the COLUMBUS area where he was known as ROCK BROWN.

ALICIA BROWN, who was injured in the same incident, was not related to EUGENE BROWN, nor was she employed by RADIO ONE.

EUGENE BROWN’s family will hold visitation FRIDAY (2/15) from 10a-noon at BETHANY BAPTIST CHURCH, 959 Bulen Ave. in COLUMBUS with the funeral service to follow. Our thanks to JD KUNES, OM for the RADIO ONE COLUMBUS cluster, for his assistance in this story.
