WROW's Williams Helps Defeat Anti-War Measure

PAMAL Talk WROW-A/ALBANY host MARK WILLIAMS got involved in the opposition to a resolution before the ALBANY COUNTY Legislature condemning the Iraq war, and his opposition helped defeat the controversial measure. 

The resolution, sponsored by DOUG BULLOCK, called on the federal government to pull the troops out of IRAQ, a move which WILLIAMS ripped on the air and in testimony before the Legislature as providing "aid and comfort to the enemy." Despite WILLIAMS and others speaking in opposition to the measure being outnumbered two-to-one, the resolution lost in a 22-15 vote.
