WAXQ to Honor John Lennon

CLEAR CHANNEL Classic Rock WAXQ (Q104.3)/NEW YORK CITY will mark the 25 years since JOHN LENNON's death next THURSDAY (12/8) with an all day tribute to the rock and roll great. 

DICK CAVETT will be a special guest on the "JIM KERR ROCK N’ ROLL MORNING SHOW" talking about his interviews with LENNON, while BOB BUCHMANN and KEN DASHOW will be reporting live from STRAWBERRY FIELDS in CENTRAL PARK. At noon, WAXQ will replay SCOTT MUNI's show with JOHN as guest, and at 9p, the station will feature a 1974 interview with JOHN that has ever been broadcast anywhere in the world.
