Sydney Radio News Anchor Stabbed

A newsman for MACQUARIE RADIO 2GB and 2CH/SYDNEY was stabbed outside a CHRISTMAS party in ST. IVES FRIDAY night. ROWAN BARKER, morning and midday anchor for the stations, was in serious but stable condition on life support in a SYDNEY hospital SUNDAY (12/4) after the incident, which happened at about 11:45p AEDT; BARKER was reportedly in an argument with two men, one of whom pulled a knife and stabbed him three times in the chest and once in the arm. The assailants fled in a white sedan and remain at large.
