AOL Announces Deals With MTV Networks And Rivals.com

AOL today announced that its video search engine will now feature RSS feeds from MTV NETWORKS’ programming services. Video content from the company’s CMT, COMEDY CENTRAL, LOGO, MTV, MTV2, mtvU, THE N, NICKELODEON, NICK AT NITE, NICK JR., NICKTOONS, NOGGIN, SPIKE, TV LAND and VH1 websites are now accessible through AOL’s video search engine available through the AOL.com portal's Video On Demand tab, AOL Search, and on the AOL service. In addition, SINGINGFUSH (www.singingfish.com), another video and audio search engine, and its network of search properties will also feature content from MTV NETWORKS.
In other AOL news, the company and Rivals.com today announced a content syndication and distribution agreement to deliver audio, video and news from Rivals.com and its network of more than 150 college and high school sports news and information sites to AOL.com users. The content will be available in time for the kickoff of Bowl season. Rivals.com will provide AOL Sports with its college and recruiting content. The features will be available free to AOL.com users.
