WFED Inks Deal With D.C. United, Hires Editor

BONNEVILLE News WFED-A (FEDERAL NEWS RADIO)/WASHINGTON has inked a two year deal to be the new home of MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER's D.C. UNITED. The station will air all competitive (league and cup tournament) matches, starting with the MARCH 12 CONCACAF Champions' Cup match against HARBOUR VIEW in KINGSTON, JAMAICA. The coverage will include a 30 minute postgame show and a 60 minute pregame show before SATURDAY matches.
TONY LIMARZI returns to call the action for his sixth season with the club, and ALEX CAUDANA will serve as studio host. The game broadcasts will be produced by BONNEVILLE's 3WT SPORTS NETWORK, based at sister Talk WWWT-A-F (3WT).
WFED has also hired FEDERAL COMPUTER WEEK editor JASON MILLER as Executive Editor, acording to DCRTV.COM. MILLER's background is in print, with stints at GOVERNMENT COMPUTER NEWS and suburban WASHINGTON newspapers.
