  UK regulator OFCOM has awarded new community radio licenses in four areas, granting the low-power, non-profit licenses to ROSSENDALE RADIO/ROSSENDALE VALLEY, LANCASHIRE; CANALSIDE RADIO/BOLLINGTON, CHESHIRE; MOORLANDS RADIO/BIDDULPH, STAFFORDSHIRE; and KCC LIVE/KNOWSLEY, MERSEYSIDE. The licenses will run for five years.
  Five other applications were rejected in the same action.
