ESPN Sports KSPN-A (710 ESPN)/LOS ANGELES adds veteran sportscaster FRED ROGGIN as a regular contributor to STEVE MASON's 1-4p weekday show. ROGGIN, the NBC O&O KNBC (TV)/LOS ANGELES sports anchor who hosted mornings at crosstown CLEAR CHANNEL Sports KLAC-A with LOS ANGELES TIMES columnist T.J. SIMERS and TRACY SIMERS, and previously hosted at former SPORTING NEWS RADIO O&O KMPC-A (AM 1540 THE TICKET), will appear at least three times a week with MASON.
"Joining the premiere brand in sports radio is an incredible opportunity and I'm thrilled to be working with STEVE MASON," said ROGGIN. "I've been a huge fan for years."
MASON added, "I’ve known FRED for years and have always been a huge fan and thrilled at the opportunity to work with him. I’m hoping to be co-hosting 'THE CHALLENGE' (ROGGIN's local post-football game show on KNBC) before the end of the year."
