SAGA Talk WHCU-A/ITHACA APD/morning host DAVE VIESER tells ALL ACCESS that the station is celebrating its 85th anniversary this year by adding a full-time afternoon news anchor and evening reporter to the staff, and the station is looking for someone to fill the position.
The job includes serving as substitute host for the "Evening Newswatch" afternoon news block and occasional fill-in for the morning show; the station is looking for someone with news writing and on-air experience, solid news judgment, and the ability to handle breaking news and live unscripted dialogue. VIESER says that candidates need to email a resume, MP3 aircheck, and cover letter to gdunn@cyradiogroup.com, and that the station won't be taking calls for the job.
