Radio One Flips Eagle 104.3 To Simulcast Of WLRS

RADIO ONE Classic Country WEGK (EAGLE 104.3)/LOUISVILLE has flipped to a simulcast of Alternative WLRS (NEW ROCK 105.1). The addition of the 104.3 frequency increases WLRS' signal coverage in the north and east of the KENTUCKIANA area.

WLRS PD ANNRAE FITZGERALD states, "With this additional signal coverage, RADIO ONE is insuring that all the rock listeners can hear their favorite station, WLRS, anywhere they go in the 8 county METRO LOUISVILLE area." 

RADIO ONE/LOUISVILLE VP/Market Manager DALE SCHAEFER adds, "WLRS has a long successful heritage in the LOUISVILLE radio market-specifically as LOUISVILLE’S ROCK STATION, so we wanted to enhance and expand our market coverage throughout the 8 county Metro area and into surrounding counties by simulcasting this station on the FM band at 104.3 and at 105.1. With this simulcast, WLRS reaches more listeners then any of our rock competitors."
