Nate Bell Appointed PD Of WWPR

CLEAR CHANNEL has appointed MID-AMERICA TRADING ZONE RVPP & OM NATE BELL as the new PD of Urban WWPR (POWER 105.1)/NEW YORK CITY, effective 1/2/06. The PD post has been vacant since MICHAEL SAUNDERS exited in OCTOBER (NET NEWS 10/12). 

Of the move, CLEAR CHANNEL VP/Urban Programming DOC WYNTER told ALL ACCESS, "I'm excited for NATE BELL. We had so many great choices within CLEAR CHANNEL, but NATE BELL is not only a great programmer, he's a great person. I think he'll be a great compliment to the WWPR staff."

"It was a pleasure to get to know NATE through the long interview process," said CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO/NEW YORK SVP/Programming TOM POLEMAN in the company's official release. "I have no doubt that he's the man for the job."
