Voicez Gets In The Ring With Def Jam

Boxing promoter BUTCH LEWIS, who has been running his family-based label THE VOICEZ MUSIC GROUP, has pacted with DEF JAM MUSIC GROUP on a co-venture, where DJ will market and promote VOICEZ product. LEWIS is the CEO; helping him oversee the label are son BRANDON, a BLACKGROUND RECORDS alum who'll head up A&R, and daughter SITA, who serves as President.

According to the label's MYSPACE page, several artists are already signed, prominently featured is the SOUTH CAROLINA rap duo KINFOLK, whose single, "Don't Go to Work," features SNOOP DOGG.
