Cox/Richmond 'Shamrocks The Block'

On SATURDAY, MARCH 15th from 12-6p, more than 15,000 people turned out for the 5th annual SHAMROCK THE BLOCK FESTIVAL. A portion of proceeds from the event went to GREATER RICHMOND SCAN (STOP CHILD ABUSE NOW). The event was put on by THREE ONE ONE PRODUCTIONS, together with COX RADIO/RICHMOND. Five bands, including headliners THE GEORGIA SATELLITES, STONE LUCY, SPEED8LIMIT, 4PLAY and CONDITIONS played on the SCION main stage.

"I think we definitely had the perfect circumstances this year," said COX/RICHMOND PD FISHER. "Great weather, great crowd and great music. SHAMROCK THE BLOCK was a win all-around."
