Neke Howse Ready To Sew

In what was a widely anticipated move, RADIO ONE Urban WERQ(92Q)BALTIMORE APD/MD/middayer NEKE HOWSE finally gets to sew on permanent PD stripes. She had been the interim PD since former PD VICTOR STARR exited in DECEMBER.

“I am very excited that NEKE HOWSE will be the new program director for WERQ,” said RADIO ONE BALTIMORE VP/GM HOWARD MAZER. “After an extensive search and interview process, we were happy to find the most qualified candidate in-house.”

NEKE started at WERQ over 10 years ago when she hosted the night show. She gradually added new duties and responsibilities throughout her years at the station. Her career path includes stops at the former KJMZ/DALLAS, WAMO/PITTSBURGH and WUSL/PHILADELPHIA. 

She will continue with her midday shift and be responsible for all programming content for WERQ.
