Mix FM/Toronto's Chris 'Punch' Andrews Dies At 43

Condolences to family and friends of ASTRAL MEDIA AC CJEZ (97.3 EZ ROCK), Hot AC CKFM (99.9 MIX FM), and Talk CFRB-A/TORONTO traffic reporter and MIX "SATURDAY NIGHT PARTY" host CHRIS "PUNCH" ANDREWS, who died SUNDAY after a battle with lung cancer at 43, according to CITY-TV/TORONTO. ANDREWS started his career as a teenager at a local-origination cable channel in AURORA, ON, then worked at a station in NEWMARKET, ON before taking a producer post at CFMJ-A/TORONTO, moving on to CFCY/CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI and then to MIX.

ANDREWS had requested that donations in lieu of flowers be made to the CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY and PRINCESS MARGARET HOSPITAL.
