CLEAR CHANNEL and PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS VP/Programming SEAN COMPTON is exiting the companies.
COMPTON joined CLEAR CHANNEL as one of the executives from JACOR who moved into CLEAR CHANNEL management when JACOR was purchased in 1998.
The INDIANA native's departure was announced to staff MONDAY (3/31), with no indication as to his destination. Speculation has COMPTON heading for TRIBUNE, rejoining SAM ZELL and RANDY MICHAELS.
