Word Records Announces Movie Distribution Deal

Christian label WORD RECORDS/NASHVILLE, announced it will produce and distribute the soundtrack for "THE END OF THE SPEAR."

The soundtrack will feature the original film score and songs by Christian artists BARLOWGIRL, STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN, NICOLE C. MULLEN and MARK SCHULTZ. The film will be produced in partnership with EVERY TRIBE ENTERTAINMENT.

"THE END OF THE SPEAR" hits theaters nationwide on JANUARY 20, 2006 and tells the true story of the WAODANI Tribe spearing raid, that killed five missionaries.

EVERY TRIBE ENTERTAINMENT will donate 50 percent of all proceeds from the film to benefit the WAODANI Tribe and other indigenous people like them.
