Stern Show Rocked By Lange Blowup

Was it real or a last-day-before-vacation cliffhanger, or both? Either way, sidekick ARTIE LANGE resigned on the air from HOWARD STERN's SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO show after a blowup between LANGE and his assistant TEDDY over arrangements for their trip to AMSTERDAM next week. 

An agitated LANGE reportedly yelled at his assistant in the hallway, then brought the conflict onto the air, where LANGE tried to attack TEDDY and later blamed STERN for pushing him into rage over the incident, offering his resignation, which STERN accepted. However, STERN kept the door open for reconciliation, continuing to talk about the incident into an interview with director JASON REITMAN and afterwards. 

The crew is off FRIDAY and all next week, so it'll be some time before fans learn whether LANGE will return to the show.
