Listeners Help Buck & Dex Save Their Job And Get A Billboard

CLEAR CHANNEL Alternative KTEG (104.7 THE EDGE)/ALBUQUERQUE's THE MORNING EDGE WITH BUCK & DEX collected 7,000 signatures and $50,000 worth of toy donations from listeners during a "SAVE OUR JOB" campaign held for 16 hours each day on DECEMBER 15-16. BUCK & DEX got into an on-air tirade with OM BILL MAY after learning they were losing the billboard they were promised in 2006 to sister Rocker KZRR (94 ROCK).

When MAY threatened to fire the morning show, DEX talked his way into a compromise for them to stay and also get their billboard, if they could collect 5,000 signatures to show that their listeners really cared about them.
