MEDIA MONITORS is reporting that its latest study shows News-Talk radio being used by online or high-tech advertisers and specialty electronic products not normally associated with the format. In the format's top 10 advertisers for DECEMBER 5-11, COMPUSA, GUITAR CENTER, and MAGELLAN GPS systems were third, fourth, and seventh, respectively, following leader GEICO. In the top 25, NETWORK SOLUTIONS (11th), OVERSTOCK.COM (16th), QUICKEN LOANS (19th), PRICELINE.COM (24th), and BOSE (25th) were among the leaders.
