Idaho Host Arrested For Domestic Battery

Sports KTKI-A (THE TICKET)/BOISE afternoon "IDAHO SPORTSTALK" co-host and IDAHO STATESMAN Sports Editor MIKE PRATER was arrested FRIDAY on a domestic battery charge. 

PRATER's girlfriend called police early FRIDAY morning and told them PRATER had punched her several times, and had bruising around her eye and blood at the corner of her mouth; PRATER pleaded not guilty and told the STATESMAN that "the circumstances are unfortunate, but the allegations simply are not true. I am absolutely innocent, and I will vigorously defend myself through the court system." PRATER says that he came home at about 2:30a and argued with the girlfriend, who he says ripped her shirt when they wrestled on the bed.
