WQMT Sale Closes

The FOUNDATION FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING IN GEORGIA, INC. has closed on its purchase of noncommercial WQMT (formerly Classic Country GEORGIA 99)/CHATSWORTH-DALTON, GA from NORTH GEORGIA RADIO GROUP L.P. for $3.2 million. The station is now airing GEORGIA PUBLIC RADIO's programming, including NPR and Classical music.
