CURB/NASHVILLE group SAWYER BROWN was involved in a fatal auto accident on SATURDAY night (12/10). A 24-year old woman died after the car she was driving crashed into the group's tour bus, just north of TOPEKA, KANSAS. The KANSAS Highway Patrol identified the woman as JESSICA MOSSMAN of AUBURN, KS. The investigators said that MOSSMAN, not wearing a seat belt, failed to yield as she entered I-75 and her car was struck by the northbound tour bus.
SAWYER BROWN lead vocalist MARK MILLER, bassist JIM SCHOLTEN and keyboardist GREGG HUBBARD were aboard the bus at the time of the accident, but were un-injured. They cancelled their scheduled show for SATURDAY at the GOLDEN EAGLE Casino, near HORTON, KS.
