Waitekus Segues To WIFC As Hillery Named PD At WIXX

MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS Top 40 WIXX/GREEN BAY PD TONY WAITEKUS segues to sister Top 40 WIFC/WAUSAU as PD. WIFC afternooner JOE MALONE has been acting as IPD since former PD JOHN JOST exited in JANUARY (NET NEWS 1/30).

The announcement was made by MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS VP/Programming JEFF MCCARTHY, who said, "TONY WAITEKUS has been offered and has accepted the PD position at WIFC/WAUSAU. His last day at WIXX will be MONDAY, APRIL 28th, at which time he will be preparing his move 90 miles west. Please join me in wishing TONY the best of luck and great success in his new position within the company."

WAITEKUS joined WIXX in NOVEMBER, 2006, following a stint programming NEXTMEDIA Top 40 WERO/GREENVILLE-NEW BERN-JACKSONVILLE, NC. 

Jason Hillery Grabs The WIXX PD Chair

JASON HILLERY returns to MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS Top 40 WIXX/GREEN BAY as PD, replacing TONY WAITEKUS.
