NPR’s 26th Annual New Year’s Eve special will be hosted from NEW ORLEANS’ TIPITINA’S nightclub, which will mark the first live national music broadcast from the city since HURRICANE KATRINA. The show will feature a number of local musical artists who have not performed in their hometown since then. NPR Jazz outlet WGBO (JAZZ 88)/NEWARK, NJ's RHONDA HAMILTON will host the event from a specially built "broadcast village" at the club.
