JBL BROADCASTING, INC. is selling Classic Rock WVEK-F (K-102)/CUMBERLAND, KY to HOLSTON VALLEY BROADCASTING CORPORATION for $270,000. The station has a construction permit to move into the KINGSPORT, TN market with a change of city of license to WEBER CITY, TN.
In other deals filed with the FCC, STARBOARD MEDIA FOUNDATION, INC. is selling noncommercial AC WOVM/APPLETON, WI to MARK FOLLETT's MUSIC THAT MATTERS, INC. for $700,000.
DON AND DONNA MCCOUN are selling their 90.9% interest in DOLPHIN COMMUNICATIONS, licensee of Talk KUIK-A/HILLSBORO-PORTLAND, OR, to SPENCER AND ELIZABETH RUBIN's WESTSIDE RADIO in a stock redemption deal for $1,000,000.
M&M BROADCASTERS, LTD. is selling Classic Country daytimer KJSA-A/MINERAL WELLS-DALLAS, TX to BUSINESSRADIO DALLAS LICENSEE LLC for $7.5 million. The buyers presently broker the time on MULTICULTURAL's KMNY-A/HURST-DALLAS for their business talk format, but will end that agreement on or before MAY 25 and will move the programming to KJSA. KJSA has a CP to move from 250 watts at 1120 AM to 20,000 watts at 1110 AM.
KENNETH E. MCGRAW is buying out MARCIA L. MCGRAW's 50% interest in IMPACT RADIO, LLC, licensee of WLKM-A-F/THREE RIVERS, MI and WBNO and WQCT-A/BRYAN, OH for $300,000.
And DONALD F. HENDREN is selling FM translators K212FP/SELIGMAN, AZ and K264AZ/PRESCOTT, AZ to ADVANCE MINISTRIES d/b/a NEW LIFE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL for $1,000 each.
