Illinois Host John 'J.R.' Rohwer Dies

Condolences to family and friends of WITHERS BROADCASTING Talk-Classic Hits WSDR-A/STERLING, IL morning host JOHN ROHWER, who died TUESDAY night in STERLING of brain and lung cancer at 58. ROHWER, known as "J.R.," served as morning host at WSDR since 1991; he started his career at sister WJVM (now WSSQ) 40 years ago. He was honored with an ILLINOIS House resolution two weeks ago.
