KASE Morning Crew Gets Chesney Some Toe Protection

Last night (5/1),  was KENNY CHESNEY’s first night back on his ‘POETS & PIRATES 2008 Tour,’ after his foot injury last week. The CHESNEY circus rolled into AUSTIN where CLEAR CHANNEL Country KASE (KASE-101)/AUSTIN’s morning show, the KASE MORNING CREW, with BAMA, ROB and JULIE K, decided to get KENNY some help. They presented the star with a pair of steel-toed cowboy boots backstage. KENNY brought the boots on stage with him, thanking the morning crew.

Also happening at the KENNY concert, CURTIS GRIMES, the local artist and winner of the KENNY “BIG STAR,” competition, which gives him the opportunity to open for a CHESNEY concert, was so excited about the opportunity, that he presented the KASE morning show with a trophy of their own for ‘best morning show.
