Former WGTS/D.C. German Host Walter Camp Jr. Dead

Condolences to family and friends of former COLUMBIA UNION COLLEGE noncommercial Contemporary Christian WGTS/TAKOMA PARK, MD-WASHINGTON German music show host WALTER CAMP, JR., who died MAY 1 of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his home in SILVER SPRING, MD at 79. 

CAMP was the President of VITA FOOD CO., one of the area's first health food stores, which he worked at from 1957 through the store's closing in 1989. He and his brother RONALD hosted "MUSICAL MEMORIES OF GERMANY AND AUSTRIA" on WGTS for 20 years.
