The NEW YORK POST has reported that CLEAR CHANNEL Urban WWPR (POWER 105)/NEW YORK afternoon host ED LOVER punched a female patron in the face at a MANHATTAN night club early SUNDAY morning. The victim is reported to be LETITIA BELFORD, described as a "gorgeous 25 year-old woman." She required 20 stitches to close a gash in her cheek.

The POST claims that the incident, which happened in the VIP section of DUVET on West 21st street, was precipitate when LOVER's girfriend became angry with BELFORD and her friends. LOVER allegedly jumped over a railing and slugged BELFORD. According to the POST, the blow sent BELFORD flying across the room "like a rag doll." Police were seeking to question LOVER yesterday (12/13) after a complaint was filed.
