Warner Chappell Wins Big At SESAC Awards

WARNER/CHAPPELL MUSIC, the publishing arm of WARNER MUSIC GROUP CORP, was named, “Publisher of the Year” for the sixth year in a row at the 12th Annual SESAC MUSIC AWARDS in NEW YORK CITY last night (05/08).

WARNER/CHAPPELL songwriter NATE "DANJA" HILLS was recognized with his second “Songwriter of the Year” award based on his multiple chart-topping hits in 2007 including SESAC’s Song of the Year, “Say it Right” performed by NELLY FURTADO.

Concurrently, songwriter BRYAN MICHAEL COX, last year’s “Songwriter of the Year,” was recognized last night for his hits in 2007 including “Be Without You” performed by MARY J. BLIGE and “Say Goodbye” performed by CHRIS BROWN.
