Michael Powers Returns With New Venture

Veteran music industry executive MICHAEL POWERS, most recently VP/Promo at UMG/NASHVILLE, tells ALL ACCESS that he will be heading up LIVE NATION ARTISTS’ move into NASHVILLE.

LIVE NATION ARTISTS, who have worked with artists like JAY Z, MADONNA and U2, announced that the first Country act they will be working with, will be the ZAC BROWN BAND. Their first single, ‘Chicken Fried,’ will be delivered to Country radio TODAY (5/12).

Heading up radio promotions for the single will be POWERS and promotions vet JEFF SOLIMA. TONY MORREALLE, most recently of SHOW DOG will also be part of the team as well as former CLEAR CHANNEL Country KTOM/MONTEREY PD DAVE KIRTH.
