Former KOA Mainstay Gus Mircos Dies

Condolences to family and friends of former CLEAR CHANNEL Talk KOA-A/DENVER morning host GUS MIRCOS, who died SUNDAY (5/11) of cancer at 70. 

MIRCOS was the morning mainstay at KOA for 22 years until his 1998 departure and previously worked at KHOW-A, KAAT-A (now KMXA-A), KRRF-A (now KBNO-A), KVOD, and KCNC-TV/DENVER and KLMO-A (now KRCN-A)/LONGMONT, CO. Despite suffering from thyroid cancer that metastasized to his lungs, he continued to do voice work until about two months ago.
