And now the significance of the stock symbol for the CLEAR CHANNEL ENTERTAINMENT spinoff company becomes clear, as the unit takes the new name LIVE NATION. The stock for what had been referred to in the interim as SPINCO is trading under the symbol LYV. MICHAEL RAPINO is serving as Pres./CEO of the company, with ALAN RIDGEWAY as CFO.
