Stern Bit Has Dolly Parton Upset

HOWARD STERN hasn't lost the capacity to outrage, and the person expressing her displeasure with the SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO host right now is DOLLY PARTON, who is livid over a semi-regular STERN show bit in which the narration from audio books is re-edited into other comments for comic effect. 

On the MAY 6th STERN show, PARTON's audiobook got the treatment, with the edits making it sound like the Country legend was saying graphic and racist things about other celebrities.

"I have never been so shocked, hurt and humiliated in all my life," complained PARTON in a statement on her website. "I cannot believe what HOWARD STERN has done to me. In a blue million years, I would never have such vulgar things come out of my mouth. They have done editing or some sort of trickery to make this horrible, horrible thing. Please accept my apology for them and certainly know I had nothing to do with this. If there was ever going to be a lawsuit, it's going to be over this. Just wanted you to know that I am completely devastated by this."
