CRTC Approves Ontario Religious FMs

ETERNACOM INC. wins CRTC approval for a new Religion station at ELLIOT LAKE, ON. The station, with 865 watts at 102.5 FM, will carry at least 42 hours of local programming per week, with the remainder simulcast with ETERNACOM's CJTK/SUDBURY, ON.

And in PICKLE LAKE, ON, the NATIVE EVANGELISTIC FELLOWSHIP OF CANADA has received the CRTC's nod for a new English- and Aboriginal-language low power FM, plus a simulcast transmitter in THUNDER BAY. Both stations will operate with 50 watts, with PICKLE LAKE at 96.5 FM and THUNDER BAY at 98.1 FM.
