WAWZ Collects Donations For N.J. National Guard

"Johnny Stone In The Morning" Amidst Donations

DAVID A. DEIN of “JOHNNY STONE in the Morning” on PILLAR OF FIRE Christian AC WAWZ (STAR 99.1)/NEW YORK spent the last five weeks visiting various locations in the listening area collecting donations for the station’s “A Touch of Home” troop collection. WAWZ partnered with the NEW JERSEY division of THE SALVATION ARMY and INO RECORDS for the campaign.

Hundreds of bags of toiletries will go to THE SALVATION ARMY for the assembly of travel kits for the 3,000 soldiers from THE NEW JERSEY NATIONAL GUARD being sent to IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN in JUNE.
